Price of Abbott's Epilepsy Drug Revised

The cost of an epileptic drug of Abbott Healthcare has been revised after the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) found that the company had increased the price of the medicine by 10% between August 2007 and August 2008.

The revised price for Abbott's Gardenal Syrup 60 ml is Rs 39.60.

The company has been given 15 days time to make changes to the pricing of this drug.
