Risk of Death from Cancer Higher in Men

A detailed study has pointed out that the risk of death due to cancer is higher for men compared to women.

Infact, the five-year survival rates were not so impressive for men.

"These are important questions because disparities in cancer mortality result from the combined effects of incidence and survival; if sex differences exist in cancer mortality and are the result of sex differences in cancer incidence, and not cancer survival, then such evidence may suggest etiologic clues for future analytic studies," revealed NCI researchers.
