Rushed Wedding After Groom Discovers He Has Few Months to Live

Andre Timberlake-Evans and Maria has been a couple for 12 years.

Their beautiful world was completely shattered after the couple was told that the symptoms experienced by 39-year-old Andre are incurable brain cancer. Though the treatment will take place, the chance of survival is very dim.

After being told that he has only a few months to live, the couple decided to get married and fulfill the dream of walking down the aisle together.

He did not want anything to come in-between precious moments with his wife. �I am going to treasure every moment with my new wife,' he said.

�My health situation puts things into perspective. It's like the Titanic, while you're all having a party and the boat is sinking. But I did forget about that all for just one day.'

The couple got married at a ceremony at Hadley Park Hotel, in Telford, and their son Max, 12, was the ring bearer.

�We basically had two-and-a-half weeks to arrange the wedding of a lifetime� it turned out to be amazing,' said Mr.Timberlake-Evans.

Maria who is employed in super market said, �We were totally overwhelmed by how family, friends, customers and even complete strangers rallied around us to help. It's overwhelming to see people's humanity - it really touched us.'
