Sale of Child-Friendly Ecstasy Pills Increasing in Britain

Ecstasy pills that have child-friendly logos are increasingly sold in Britain, warned a drug expert.

Fiona Measham, who is a member of the government's Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, said that drug manufacturers are selling attractive ecstasy tablets in the form of teddy bear and Disney characters.

‘Fiona Measham, a government drug expert, warned that drug traffickers were intentionally making 'child-friendly' ecstasy pills shaped like teddy bears or Disney characters to attract younger users in the UK.’

In a shocking incident, 12-year-old girls were hospitalized after taking these tablets. It was reported that these girls have dissolved the tablets in a fizzy drink.

Experts are raising concern about the safety of these pills as many drug dealers are intentionally manufacturing child-friendly tablets to attract young girls.
