by Savitha C Muppala on November 5, 2012 at 11:33 PM

Many in Delhi experienced allergic conditions like wheezing and respiratory problems following strange weather conditions triggered by sudden falling temperatures and dense smog enveloping the city.

Close to 50 domestic flight were delayed due to this as the Runway Visibility Range (RVR) dropped below 550 m.

Doctors have advised people living in Delhi to take extra precautions during such weather conditions as the risks of allergies and respiratory infections increase.

The possibility of eye infections is high during this period, so care must be taken to wash ones hands thoroughly before rubbing the eye.
