STD High Among LA Porn Stars Than Nevada Prostitutes

A recent report has outlined that LA porn stars seem to have markedly higher rates of sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs) as compared to legal prostitutes in Nevada.

Twenty-eight percent of 168 adult industry actors in Los Angeles County tested positive for either gonorrhea or chlamydia or both, the study revealed

Quoting the report, "Undiagnosed asymptomatic ... STIs were common and are likely reservoirs for transmission to sexual partners inside and outside the workplace."

The study highlighted the common sentiment among many in the porn indistry that condoms are unnecessary since the industry already conducts regular STD checks.

The study revealed how porn stars avoid using the condom as they believe regular use could cause chafing, tearing and increased risk of disease.
