Swine Flu Claims Three More Lives in Rajasthan, Toll Reaches 378
Swine flu has claimed three more lives in Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll due to H1N1 virus to 378 in the state since January this year. As per the reports, one death each reported in Jaipur, Sikar and Udaipur.
According to a Medical and Health Directorate official, a total of 6,203 swine flu cases recorded in the state so far, 378 have succumbed to the virus.
The death toll includes 21 H1N1 positive patients who had come to Rajasthan for treatment from other states.
The highest number of swine flu cases reported from Jaipur (72), followed by Ajmer (41), Jodhpur (33), Nagaur (30), Barmer (23), Kota (18), Chittorgarh and Udaipur (13 each), Sikar (12), Pali (11), Bhilwara, Tonk and Jhunjhunu (9 each), Churu and Bikaner (7 each), Dausa and Banswara (6 each), Bharatpur, Alwar and Rajsamand (5 each) and one to four at many other places in the state.
