Testicle Ultrasound Reveals a Face Staring Back

An ultrasound image of a growth on a testicle turned rather bizarre when technicians observed a face looking back at them, when they expected to see a growth.

Explaining the freak scan image, Dr. Naji Touma, an assistant professor of urology at Queen's University in Kingston, Ont., said "It was almost like art coming out of this patient's testicles.It was an amusing finding."

The patient, a 45-year old paraplegic man did not make much of the odd scan either. He was relieved to know that the growth was benign.

Shadows may have created an impression that resembled a face on the ultrasound scan.
