The Danger of Exposure to Asbestos

An article published in the Medical Journal of Australia has highlighted the dangers of asbestos-related cancer, a risk which is elevated due to exposure to asbestos during renovations around home.

The study showed that home renovations were responsible for most non-occupational cases of malignant mesothelioma associated with asbestos exposure.

Asbestos manufacturers must ensure that the public is informed about the dangers of asbestos exposure.
