Transplant Games in Mumbai

More than 150 people participated in the �Transplant Games� held in Mumbai as part of their effort to spread the knowledge of organ donation.

More than 150 people participated in the "Transplant Games" held in Mumbai as part of their effort to spread the knowledge of organ donation.


Both donors and receivers took part in a series of games including running race and table tennis at the Goregaon Sports Complex and the meet was attended by well known personalities such as Vinod Kambli and Wasim Jaffer.

The games were organized by Narmada Kidney Foundation whose founder, Bharat Shah was delighted that the meet was attended by people from different parts of the country.

"It is a pleasure to watch the enthusiasts coming from different parts of the country. This event has been inspiring not only for the many potential recipients and donors, but also the Foundation", Shah said.
