Travel Insurance
When you plan a trip or travel abroad, it is best to buy a travel insurance policy and protect yourself from unexpected issues.
Travel Insurance will reimburse nonrefundable cruise deposits or air fares - the difference amount for rescheduling flights. When faced with natural calamities, terrorism, illness or weather conditions due to which flights may be cancelled.
Some policies cover medical expenses outside the United States and pay for evacuation due to serious injuries. Some policies do not cover pre-existing health issues.
The policy can be purchased through a travel agent, the Tour Company or websites. 4-8% of the trip cost is usually the price of the policy and usually after you pay your first travel deposit you get better rates.
You also have the option to opt out of the trip and your money is reimbursed. Some policies offer "cancel for any reason" cover at an extra cost.
