A novel reversible vasectomy technique is being developed in India.

In this technique, fluids are allowed to flow through the vas deferens, but the passing sperms are destroyed by an injected polymer made of styrene maleic anhydride and dimethyl sulfoxide.

This technique keeps the production of sperms alive but as the negatively charged sperm passes by, they are destroyed by the positive charge of the SMA polymer. Effectively, the man ejaculates zillions of sperms but most get destroyed in this technique.
