Uttar Pradesh Plans To Make Air Ambulances Available For Road Accident Victims

In order to help those injured in road accidents to reach hospitals as soon as possible, a high-level committee in Uttar Pradesh on road safety policy discussed making air ambulances available.

Senior officials from the departments of home, medical and health, primary, secondary and higher education, PWD, transport, law, finance and the directorate of traffic met. Madhukar Jaitley, the adviser to the state government for externally aided projects presided over the meeting. World Bank officers were also present in the meeting.
