Victims of Bhopal Gas Tragedy to Get All-Round Health Facilities

The Madhya Pradesh Government announced that it will be offering all round health facilities, including free pathology tests, at government hospitals and health centers to the victims of Bhopal gas tragedy.


The announcement was made by Bhopal Gas Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Babulal Gaur who also asked the government to come up with schemes that could help in the health, economic, social and environmental and rehabilitation of the gas leak victims.

The state government revealed that it will be providing as many as 48 different pathology tests in district hospitals and a medical service allowance of Rs 2,000 - Rs 5,000 will be given to doctors associated with the Health & Family Welfare Department with retrospective effect from August 26, 2008.
