A new study suggests that workaholsim should not be viewed as a negative habit as it comes with a number of benefits.
The study was conducted by Professor Yehuda Baruch from the Rouen Business School who said that workaholism should not be immediately rejected as a bad habit and instead it came with a number of positive benefits for both the individual and society.
Professor Baruch admitted that workaholism can be termed as an addiction but said that instead of the popular held belief that workaholics were cynics and always exhausted, they are more likely to display vigor and dedication.
The study is published in the journal Career Development International.
