Estrogen: Female sex hormone produced primarily by ovaries and in smaller amounts by conversion of male hormone made in the adrenal gland. In breast cancer, estrogen may promote the growth of cancer cells

Androgen: A male sex hormone that promotes the development and maintenance of the male sex characteristics


Gonads: Reproductive organs

Steatohepatitis: Excess fat deposits in the liver, which cause inflammation

Steatosis: Also called fatty liver, steatosis is the presence of excess fat in the liver

Hepatosplenomegaly: Enlargement of the spleen and liver
