Congenital: Present since birth

Syndrome: A group of symptoms together constitute a syndrome

Amnion: Inner membrane enclosing the fetus and closer to the fetus


Chorion: A second outer membrane enclosing the fetus

Fetus: Refers to the baby in the womb from 8 weeks of gestation until birth

Prosthetics: Artificial body part

Occupational therapy: The use of particular activities as an aid to recuperation from physical or mental illness
