Duodenum: The first part of the small intestine

Stenosis: Obstruction

Jejunum: The portion of the small intestine located between the duodenum and the ileum


Pancreatitis: Inflammation (pain, tenderness) of the pancreas, which can make the pancreas stop working

Amniotic fluid: The fluid which, contained in the sac of membranes known as the amnion, surrounds the fetus and provides a shock absorber and a secondary vehicle for the exchange of body chemicals with the mother

Hematemesis: Vomiting blood

Polyhydramnios: Excessive amniotic fluid during pregnancy
