Myopathy: A muscle disease, usually one that results in the deterioration of muscle.Myasthenia gravis: A disease in which the muscles, mainly those in the face, eyes, throat, and limbs, become weak and tire quickly; caused by the body''s immune system attacking the receptors in the muscles that pick up nerve impulses.
Progesterone: Female sex hormone released by the ovaries during every menstrual cycle to prepare the uterus for pregnancy and the breasts for milk production.
Antibodies: Protein produced by white blood cells, which neutralize or destroy foreign proteins in the body (antigens). When infected with virus or bacteria, the body produces antibodies, which destroy the invading microorganisms.
