ACE Inhibitor: A medicine used primarily for treating hypertension and heart failure.

Antibiotics: An antibacterial drug used for treating bacterial infections by either killing or inhibiting the growth of the bacteria.

Edema: Abnormal accumulation of fluid in the tissue spaces in the body.


Insulin: A peptide hormone secreted by the β-cells of the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas, which regulates glucose levels in the body.

Loop Diuretics: Drugs that act on the ascending limb of the loop of Henle in the kidney and cause increased production of urine.

Osmolality: The concentration of a solution expressed as the total number of solute particles per kilogram.
