Glossary
Cancer: A term for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control. Cancer cells can invade nearby tissues and can spread through the bloodstream and lymphatic system to other parts of the body.Immune system: A system of the body through which it fights the effects of deleterious agents like pathogenic microorganisms and protects itself from diseases.
Immunotherapy: The artificial stimulation of the body's immune system to treat or fight disease.
Immune Response: The activity of the immune system against foreign substances (antigens).
