Local Anesthesia: Cervix is numbed by a gel or injectionGeneral Anesthesia: Patient is deeply sedated
Spinal anesthesia: Drug is injected into spine and lower half of body is numbed.
Fertilization: When sperm fuses with the egg and forms an embryo which develops into a fetus/baby.
