Glossary
Glomerular filtration rate: Measure of the kidneys'' ability to filter and remove waste products.Dialysis: The process of cleansing the blood when the kidneys are not able to filter the blood.
Ascites: Accumulation of fluid in the peritoneal (abdominal) cavity.
Hypertension: Increase in blood pressure.
