2. Does everyone with cancer have pain?

3. Does a person taking opioids become addicted to it?

Cancer patients rarely become addicted to opioids. Patients can only have physical dependence on pain medication but, the risk of psychological dependence to analgesics is negligible with well-managed treatment.
