It depends on the part of the body affected. Usually for common conditions such as respiratory or throat infections you need to consult a general physician or a family physician. For more serious diseases such as a heart attack or a severe allergic reaction, emergency medical attention is essential.

2. What are autoimmune diseases?

They are diseases in which the body's normally protective immune system damages its own tissues, which it erroneously recognizes as foreign.


3. Is it true that diet plays a crucial role in treating chronic inflammation?

Consumption of excess sugar, refined products, white flour, trans fats have been shown to cause or aggravate existing inflammatory conditions. A diet rich in vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, whole grains, fish and lean meat promotes healing.

4. Does stress cause inflammation?

Chronic stress is unhealthy and causes more release of a hormone cortisol, which causes inflammatory conditions.
