Encephalopathy: Damage to the brain structure or functionConfabulation: Distortions in memory and erroneous reporting of events
Retrograde amnesia: Loss of memory of events prior to the initiation of amnesia
Anterograde amnesia: Inability to form new memories but are capable of learning
