Glossary
Cognitive— Pertaining to the mental process of thought, including perception, reasoning, intuition, and memory.Comorbid— A separate condition that exists or has been present in addition to the main disease under treatment, which affects the patient.
Lucid Interval— Short interval between unconsciousness followed by regaining consciousness.
Stupor— Reduced level of consciousness or near-unconsciousness.
Lethargy— Pathological stage of unresponsiveness or inactivity.
Trauma— Sudden injury due to impact, violence, or accident.
