Glossary

Synchrotron: A cyclic particle accelerator in which the magnetic field and electric field are synchronized with the traveling particle beam to keep the orbital radius constant.

Standard/Conventional Radiotherapy: Radiation treatment using high energy x-rays to kill tumor cells.
