Congenital: Present at birthAtresia: Absence of development
Deoxygenated blood: Blood that is deficient in oxygen concentration
Pulmonary artery: The blood vessel that carries impure blood from right ventricle to the lungs
Ventricular septum: The muscular wall that separates the right and left ventricles
VSD: Ventricular septal defect i.e. a hole in the ventricular septum
Echocardiogram: Ultrasound imaging of heart
