Bronchioles: The tiny branches of air tubes in the lungsBronchiolitis: Inflammation, usually due to infection by the Respiratory Syncytial Virus, of the smallest airways of an infant, when severe leading to failure of oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange and potentially fatal.
Congenital defects: Problems or conditions that are present at birth.
Dysplasia: Cells that look abnormal under a microscope but are not cancer.
Pneumonia: An inflammatory infection that occurs in the lung.
