Sensory Processing Disorder: Sensory Processing Disorder or SPD is a complex disorder of the brain that impairs the processing of sensory stimuli leading to under or over sensitivity to stimuli.Sensory Integration Therapy: Sensory Integration Therapy is a technique used for children with SPD, involving sensory exposure in a controlled environment to enable more effective processing of sensory stimuli.
Asperger's Syndrome: Asperger's Syndrome is a developmental disorder in which the ability to engage in social interaction and related kills are affected. Rigid and repetitive behavior and thinking is also a symptom of this condition.
Sensory Modulation Disorder: Sensory Modulation Disorder is characterized by hypersensitivity or hypersensitivity to sensory information in the environment
Sensory-based Motor Disorder: Sensory-based Motor Disorder is a type of SPD in which coordination and balance are affected predominantly.
Sensory Discrimination Disorder: Sensory Discrimination Disorder involves inability to or difficulty understanding the subtle features of people, objects, or environments.
