What are the Symptoms and Signs of Hormonal Headaches?
The major symptom of hormonal headaches is a severe throbbing headache similar to migraines that may not be preceded by an aura. It is usually one sided and can be associated with nausea, vomiting and an increased sensitivity to bright lights and noise. Other symptoms of hormonal headaches include the following:
- Tiredness and fatigue
- Breakout of acne
- Muscle and joint pains
- Constipation
- Decreased urinary frequency
- Lack of focus and coordination
- Craving for chocolate, alcohol and salty foods
