H.I.V.= Human Immunodeficiency Virus.The Virus infection causes AIDS, the time interval between exposure to the virus and appearance of symptoms and manifestations of AIDS depends upon various factors, like: treatment, immunity of the exposed person, Cell mediated Immunity.
A.I.D.S. = Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.
