Coping Strategy for Tired All The Time (TATT) - Syndrome
Coping Strategy
A few changes in your routine can make a drastic difference in tackling TATT syndrome. Try making the following lifestyle changes to beat TATT and stay refreshed all through your life.- Try to stop and do less of the things that seem to trigger your tiredness. For a week or two write down what makes you feel tired. Then look over this list to find out which activities tend to tire you out. An occupational therapist can help you by looking at your daily habits and suggesting changes to help you save your energy.
- Regular exercise can lessen your body aches and increase your energy levels. Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting an exercise plan, though. Too much exercise can cause tiredness.
- Meditation definitely works in more ways than one. It balances the energies, calms the mind and relaxes the body.
- Some people find that their symptoms get better with complementary or alternative treatments, such as massage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, yoga, stretching or self-hypnosis. Keep in mind that many alternative treatments, dietary supplements and herbal remedies claiming to cure TATT might actually do more harm than good. It is best to consult your doctor before trying any one of them.
