Occult practices vs Science

Why Occult practices defy Medical Psychiatry

There is an increased interest in the paranormal and supernatural, especially the concept of "evil" in fields such as psychiatry and psychology. The argument that "evil" can never be scientifically defined because it is an abstract moral concept, deters a full medical exploration in this direction. Medical experts fear that including the term "evil" into the lexicon of psychiatry will lead to stigmatizing mental illness and lessening the credibility of the field, especially in forensic psychiatry.
