Glossary
Achondroplasia: Short stature adults below 131 cm in males and 124 cm in females. They have problem formation of the cartilage.Genetic: Inherited.
Extremities: Arms and legs.
Megalocephaly: Enlargement of the brain.
Hyrdrocephalus: Collection of water at the base of the brain causing it to swell.
Hypotonia: Decrease in muscle tone.
Kyphosis: Hump or forward bending of the spine.
Genetic Counselling: A communicative procedure that undertakes to deal with the problems that rise in a family with the occurrence or the risk of occurrence of a genetic abnormality.
