Autism: Autism is a developmental disorder that can be detected as early as in children at the age of three years. Some of the recent studies have shown that it is now possible to find out if children who are autistic from blood samples of infants who are only a few months old.


Apgar score: This is the first test given to a newborn to test the health. Apgar stands for Activity, Pulse, Grimace, Appearance, and Respiration. The test is given one minute after birth, and then after 5 minutes.
