2. Can I drink water before the procedure?
You can take a sip of water, to take the prescribed medications.
3. How will I feel during the procedure?
It is normal to feel pressure in the groin during insertion of the sheath. On application of radiofrequency energy, a sense of burning or discomfort in the chest is common. Rapid heart sounds are felt on stimulation of the heart during the procedure.
4. When can I take a shower after the procedure?
After removing the clear bandages, you can apply soap and gently rub near the puncture site and take a shower.
5. How soon can I return to work?
You should be able to resume normal work within a week of the procedure.
6. When should I see my doctor after the procedure?
You must be regular in your follow-up as advised by the doctor. Additionally, be on the lookout for signs of bleeding.
