Glossary

Kidneys: The kidneys are a pair of bean-shaped organs located below the rib cage on either side of the spine. They filter out wastes and extra water from the blood and form the urine with these wastes.


Ureter: The ureter is a tube that carries urine and connects the kidney to the bladder.

Bladder: The bladder is an organ that stores urine.
