Galactagogue: A substance that promotes the production of milk.

Prolactin: A hormone produced by pituitary gland in the body. It aids the production of milk.


Oxytocin: Hormone produced by the pituitary gland; aids let-down of breast milk.

Pituitary gland: A pea-sized gland at the base of the brain.
