Also, children will be exposed to the electromagnetic field for their entire lifetimes. Therefore, they should avoid the use of mobile phones.

It has been suggested that electromagnetic fields can cause a wide range of side effects which include ringing in the ears, cancers, Parkinson's disease, infertility, headache, hormonal changes, sleep disturbances, and depression, to name a few. However, none of these have been proven beyond doubt. The use of mobile phones is fairly recent and its long-term effects may not yet be established. Till more studies prove whether these devices are harmful or harmless, it is better to keep them away from our bodies for as long as possible.
