Support groups for women dealing with uterine cancer are very helpful. Having someone to talk with who is going through similar experiences is often helpful. In a support group, members provide each other with emotional and non-professional support. The help may take the form of providing relevant information, relating personal experiences, listening to others' experiences, providing sympathetic understanding and establishing social networks. Support groups also offer you information on treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care. Your doctor can recommend one in your area.
