Medically Reviewed by Dr. Sunil Shroff, MBBS, MS, FRCS (UK), D. Urol (Lond) on Sep 25, 2019

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Whom do I approach for my geriatric or old age related problems?

You may approach a general physician who in turn may direct you to a geriatrics specialist.

2. When does old age begin?

For technical reasons, 65 years is known to be the cut off mark between maturity and old age. But for all intents and purposes growing old has more to do with the mind than with changes in the body.

3. How can I age gracefully?

You may age gracefully by not fighting it - by accepting the fact that growing old is an inseparable part of life, if one is lucky enough to live that long.
