Glossary
Proteinuria: The presence of above normal quantities of protein in the urine.Heroin nephropathy: Nphropathy that occurs in heroin and cocaine users.
Sickle cell disease: A severe form of anaemia in which the red blood cells resemble a crescent shape.
Systemic lupus erythematosus: This is an auto-immune disease that leads to the body's own immune cells attack healthy tissue in the body.
Schistosomiasis: This is also called the snail fever and is caused by parasitic flatworms.
