Athralgia: Joint pain

Ehlers: Danlos syndrome - group of inherited connective tissue disorders

Osteoarthritis: Degenerative joint disease


Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa which is a fluid -filled sac at the joint

Tendonitis: Inflammation of the tendon which is a structure that connects the muscle to the bone

Scoliosis: Increased curvature of the spine

Rheumatoid arthritis: Chronic, auto- immune, degenerative inflammatory disease of the joints and other internal body parts

Lupus: Systemic disease involving the immune system

Osteogenesis imperfeta: Genetic bone disorder

Marfan syndrome: Genetic disorder involving connective tissues

Down syndrome: Also known as trisomy 21, this is congenital genetic disorder characterized by three copies of chromosome 21


Polio: Infantile paralytic disease caused by virus

Myotonia congenital: Genetic neuromuscular disease wherein muscles are rigid due to delayed relaxation ability

Fibromyalgia: Disease characterized by chronic pain of muscles and connective tissue

Chronic fatigue syndrome: condition wherein a person feels chronically tired

Carpel tunnel syndrome: Condition that results from the compression of the median nerve that runs through the carpel tunnel, which is a component located at the base of the wrist

Panic disorder: Anxiety disorder that results in panic attacks
