Glossary

Ureter: Tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder.

Urethra: The tube through which urine leaves the body. It empties urine from the bladder.


Diverticula: Pouch formed from a weak spot in the muscle.

Renal pelvis: Upper broad part of the ureter connected to the kidney.
