Glossary
Edema: The accumulation of fluid in cavities or tissues of the body.Sporadic: A condition that occurs randomly, at irregular intervals, or is an isolated case in an individual.
Intradermal: The term intradermal indicates within the dermis. The dermis is the layer below the epidermis or the outer layer of the skin.
Lymphangitis: A condition where the walls of the lymphatic vessels are inflamed.
Cellulitis: Bacterial infection of the skin.
