Prodromal: Symptoms that are observed at the beginning and indicate the start of an infection.


PCR: A molecular biology technique, PCR or polymerase chain reaction is a procedure to amplify the genetic material from a small quantity of biological sample (tissue, blood, or cells).

Zoonoses: Infections that are transmitted to humans from vertebrate (with a vertebra) animals.
