Muscle wasting: Decrease in the mass of muscle due to lack of physical activity is known as muscle wasting

Paresthesia: Sensations like tingling, pricking, tickling or burning without any apparent cause, not lasting for long. Example: sensations of "pins and needles" or a limb "falling asleep".


Hyperreflexia: Body responds to certain tickles, strokes and taps with a set of muscles contracting or jerking. This is called reflex. When these reflex responses become over-active, the condition is known as hyperreflexia.

Muscle cramps: Sudden involuntary contraction of one or more muscles, causing excruciating pain. It is different from muscle twitch.
