1. Which doctor should I consult for pharyngeal cancer?

You should first visit your general physician, as you cannot make a diagnosis of throat cancer yourself. 2. Are there any ways in which I can prevent pharyngeal cancer?

Since pharyngeal cancer often occurs due to exposure to certain environmental factors, it can be prevented at least to some extent by avoiding smoking, chewing tobacco, exposure to asbestos and limiting alcohol intake. In addition, intake of fresh fruit and vegetables could have some protective effect against pharyngeal cancer.
